I love The Venture Bros. so very very much. It along with Archer are probably my favorite current shows. I personally prefer Boondocks for my satire and Robot Chicken for parody, but Venture bros. can be ocassionally brilliant combined the 2

Hey Wildfire-you waiting to see if Shax can transfer the SF thread before starting a new one? Its only right that you get the created byline. I'm now in a habit of posting about the book i just completed and for some reason I can't start a new one until I regurgitate the old

What did SuperE get banned for? I sent him a link to this forum (as I'm sure others did as well) and asked him to bring his Silly Comic Stories thread over. Ood Omega, you posted in the GoT thread, right? You mean the Game of Thrones thread in the TV Forums? Yeah occasionally.

Thought I recognized the avatar. A pleasant surprise to see familiar "faces". Yeah I decided to keep the avatar and signature the same so people would recognize me after the name change. It seems to be working. You really think SuperE could have lasted long after Weiland announced his (possibly made-up) "no nonsense posts" rule on the now-deleted "no thanks" thread? After catching up on the new CBR Chat Thread it seems that he made a couple "flamebaiting threads". Probably what did it.

I read that as the two "flamebating threads" Brian mentioned were on the old CBR... the Charles Manson thread and one on cannibalism? But let's face it: If I get banned for being "repeatedly combative" for making 5 or 6 posts in total, 3 of those critical of the way the change was done, then SuperE was not gonna last. He complained loudest, even if he was as little rude about it as I was.

Just to illustrate how hellish my current place of employment is: When I asked the IT guy to install a second browser on my absent colleague's computer now that the American government is warning against using IE, he said "I never got what all the IE hate is about." <facepalm> Speaking as an IT guy, I'm guessing he's about the only one of us who didn't hear about the IE vulnerability. On behalf of my profession, please allow me to apologize. And tell the guy to turn in his pocket protector.

More and more regulars and some new people! I'm enjoying it! Feels a bit like this.. My absolute favorite Marx Bros. film (even moreso than Duck Soup!). And two hard boiled eggs!

Yeah, that "no nonsense" thing was funny. He's going to have a tough time enforcing that.
