My main problem with all of Rogue's cstumees is that they have Rogue in them. I've never been able to stand the character, or for that matter Gambit, or most of the other X-Men recruited since the early 80s. I still regard Rogue and every other X-Man post Kitty Pryde to be 'new' and basically uninteresting, somehow. Who is that? She's purdy!

Pre Crisis Adult Earth 2 Robin: The one on the left is hideous. I think the one on the right would be OK with red leggings instead of yellow. The second Earth Two Robin costume (which was actually first worn by his Earth One counterpart) is my favourite of all Dick Grayson's looks, and one of my favourite Bronze Age costumes overall. Agreed and that was part of the reason I was never fully happy with Dick Grayson taking the name Nightwing. To me he will always be Robin. i liked the idea of giving him a more adult costume and letting him be who he was. I never quite bought into the "and Robin" theme, as he had plenty of great solo stories and he was established as his own man in the previous Teen Titans issues. Just a personal pet peeve.

I do think they went a little closer to making her a MILF than just a modern 90's woman. But the little I read of FF in the 90's the whole Namor and Susan thing, seemed to sell the comics. (Not sure if I remember older FF stories having them two together.)

Not sure if I'm misunderstanding you, but Namor lusting after Sue Richards (née Storm) has been a staple of Fantastic Four comics since at least issue #4.

All I'm saying is of the old FF issues I have that is not a feature story element so I wasn't sure how long that romance had/has gone on.

And even further back, in the Silver Age, the then-unmarried Sue Storm agonised over her attraction to Namor and was definitely tempted by him, while she was supposed to be dating Reed. Where's tolworthy when you need him!
