I am going to give this a go, if I can even remember (since remembering what I had for lunch the day before can be challenging for me. lol):
Last 5 books read (no particular order):
1. The Handmaid's Tale
2. Men Explain Things to Me
3. Conquest: Sexual Violence and American Indian Genocide
4. The Potawatomis: Keepers of the Fire
5. The Mis-Education of the Negro
Some of those are some pretty dense and heavy non-fiction. I am actually back into reading comics, after taking a long break, because I need to read something light and fun. And a few of those I am still reading and taking notes on.

The last 5 albums I have listened to:
1. A Tribe Called Quest-We got it from Here... Thank You 4 Your service (just received my copy on Thursday. But it's already up there as one of my 2016 fave albums)
2. Anohni-Hopelessness (another fave from 2016)
3. Sister Rosetta Tharpe-Original Soul Sister (4 disc set)
4. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds-Skeleton Tree (I still need to familiarize myself with this album more, but it's soooo sad).
5.Buffy Sainte Marie-The Pathfinder, Buried Treasures (collects 3 albums which were blacklisted in America during the 70s).
I have way more albums I have listened to lately since I listen to music all day while I work, but those are my top 5 of my most recent listens.

That's some old school stuff right there, Gene. Except for the Wii game. I love the retro stuff. Modern games are more of a time and money commitment than I can make, so anything that I can pick up and play for 15-20 minutes at a time is ideal. |
