Back from Buckeye Con. Good day. Got to meet up and hang out with the Captain for a bit as we hunted comics. Here's the haul/damage done...  I'll sort out individual pics and lists for the recent comics purchased thread later... -M Love me some epic illustrated! I'm impressed any of the vendors there were carrying it as it's generally not a "hot" back issue these days. |

I think that issue might go up in price because of the Upcoming TV show. I had no idea there was an upcoming television series. Dreadstar, or Metamorphosis Odyssey? |

Put a short box and a cardboard magazine file that holds about 20-25 issues in the trunk before I left to keep stuff in as I went along or the day. I took the mags out of the file before I snapped the pic. It's just easier to make trips out to the car and dump stuff off rather than trying to carry it around all the time, and with small shows like this, it's a lot easier because you aren't parked far away. -M |

I do the same. I take a short box and refill it during breaks. That's how I typically do it as well, but my wife dropped me off at this show, so I had to lug around my backpack all day, which got progressively heavier as the hours wore on. A wonderful problem to have  I learned a long time ago that lugging around a short box instead of bringing it back to the car is obnoxious, but it often makes sellers more eager to do business with you because they know you are serious about buying. I get better service and better deals this way. |
