Amazing Spider-Man #90-400....missing keys #121, 129, 238 and then about 5-6 random other issues (including #240 which I can just never find when out and about). V for Vendetta #1-10....missing #4,5,9. Really want to complete it so I can read it. Punisher Mini Series....#1 and #3 as elusive and expensive as all hell on the rare occasion I do see them. I have the complete Punisher mini. Maybe we can work something out.

I have several that I think could be obtainable:
Werewolf By Night- I have about half the issues. However, what I don't have includes the earliest issues and the Moon Knight issues. That'll keep this one up there in price terms.
Master of Kung Fu- I'm about 2/3 the way through. I don't have #15 and several of the Gulacy issues. Still, probably feasible.
Spider-Woman (1978) I have about half the issues. I think the priciest one I have left to get is #50.
Swamp Thing (1970s) I think I am missing #2-5 and a couple of the ones near the end.
Ghost Rider (1970s) I think I'm about 2/3 done on this one but I am missing a lot of the earliest issues and the final issue, which I think is where the costs will be.
The Shadow (1970s) I've got like 5 issues of this. I got them for about $5 each but I don't know if that would work on the rest of them.
The Demon (1970s) I got into this just this year after grabbing a couple of issues for $5 each. All the ones I have seen lately are around $10 each, which isn't terrible but doesn't make them my first choice.

The series I'm trying to complete in all floppy format at this time are:
Black Goliath - #1 and #5 Doc Savage (Marvel) - #1 Further Adventures of Indiana Jones - #16, 18, 24, 30, and 33 Ghost Rider (1970's) - #1, 2, 4 and #5 Jungle Action - #1 - 5, and #8 Supernatural Thrillers - #1 - 5 Werewolf by Night - #1 - 4, and #32 (so freaking expensive)
If we're talking combination of floppies and collected editions, I'm looking to do:
Iron Man - just need #43 and #48 in floppy format Thor - #126 - 140 and #153 - 172 (as much in collected editions as possible)

I find the pre-Miller DD to be quite charming. I loooooove the Gene Colan-Syd Shores issues and am quite fond of the Steve Gerber DD in San Francisco issues as well. And that bizzaro rogues gallery. Just great! Not that I mind the Miller-Janson and Nocenti-Williamson era's but I enjoy the above... more. Pre-Miller Daredevil is indeed a lot of fun at times. I get kind of annoyed when I see Daredevil dismissed as a bad series or a nothing character when somebody is lauding Frank Miller. (I do love Miller's Daredevil run, by the way. I got them brand-new off the spinner racks and thought they were about the best comics ever. But that doesn't mean Daredevil sucked for all the previous years.)
I'm not too keen on the #54 to #80 era, but other than that, Daredevil was pretty awesome! From the Wally Wood issues (like #7!) through that craziness in the Romita issues (Death of the Ox! First Gladiator!) to the even-crazier craziness in the Gene Colan comics (Mike Murdock! Cobra and Hyde! The Jester! Dr. Doom!) to Starr Saxon to the San Francisco days (Love the Bob Brown art!) to the Steve Gerber days (Death Stalker! Shanna guest stars!) right up to Heather Glenn and the big Jester appearance in the late 1970s and Miller's first issue.
Daredevil rules! (And, yeah, at one point, I had every issue, from #1 to somewhere in the 230s.)

I see there's some competition out there for two titles I'm sort of half-heartedly working on:
Master of Kung-Fu: I have #15 through #63 and #69 through #75, but I find I've lost interest a bit with Gulacy's departure. I may jump ahead to the Gene Day issues, which I've never read but come highly recommended for his extraordinary work. I picked up #15 three years ago in high grade for around $35. Still an outrageous price for some here, but this one is definitely do-able for hardcore completists.
Werewolf by Night: I was a big fan in the 70s and so had the good sense to grab Spotlight #2 and WBN #1 twenty-five years ago for next to nothing. #32 (first Moon Knight) has eluded me, but I've had #33 for almost as long (found in the $1 bin at about F+). I'd never heard of Moon Knight before the Moench/Sienkiewicz series in 1980, which I liked a lot, but later treatments didn't interest me.
I've never been terribly interested in collecting full runs; I lack the focus required, but I have a ton of respect and admiration for those who are able to pull it off, particularly runs of three and four hundred issues. That is astonishing.

I haven't done much about 'em in the last 3-4 years, but I'm still working on Brave and the Bold (50 up), Gorgo, and Konga.
I've pretty much claimed all the back issues in Iowa, and I'm not big on shopping online. Someday I'll hit a major-ish convention or something and pick up the rest.

I also still need a handful of issues to complete my runs of '70s Marvel Westerns (Gunhawks, Outlaw Kid, Red Wolf) Those buggers can indeed be elusive. I finally found a cheap copy of the Red Wolf I was missing (#7) earlier this year via Lone Star, & I still lack Gunhawks #6. Not to mention Gunslinger #1. Yah I hear you on Red Wolf I looked for years to find decent copies at a reasonable price . Finally complete a few months back . Started The Ringo Kid it only goes to 30 . Found a nice copy of # 1 .

That is astonishing. Gene Day starts inking with #76 and that starts the 14 part Warriors of the Golden Dawn (There are 6, yes 6, issues of prologue!). So yes... start again there.
The series does kind of dip from 51-75 but oh what heights it reaches after that.

Confession: I actually like issues 54-80. Well, I like 54-70, the Roy Thomas issues but yeah... when Gerry Conway takes over DD becomes a rather odd and disjointed series.
Any Gerber is worth checking out. I even liked his Sub-Mariner run which puts out on the outer limits of enjoyed series.

I will say that I know very little about those issues immediately preceding Miller. I'm thinking from around 140-155 or whatever. I know Shooter did a short run but that is about all I know.

Supernatural Thrillers - #1 - 5 I forgot about Supernatural Thrillers. I have most of the early "literary adaptation" ones, at least the ones I am interested in, but I still need 3-4 of the later Living Mummy issues.

That is astonishing. Back in like '85 or '86 Mile High had all those 50 cent sales. That was where I was able to get my first few issues of both of those titles. Even back then, 50 cents was a good price. I regret that I didn't try to get more of them and beg my parents for more allowance. Even though they did leave out most of the key/expensive issues, they were offering huge chunks of them. Ah well. There are far more books out there than I have the time/money for to be a true completist. That doesn't even include the random issues that catch my eye that i didn't know I wanted until I saw them...
