I'll have to go and check which are actually the 80s, but I think you guys have it covered.. the Kite Story, the 1st Gen Story, and/or a Mother's Love were definitely the ones I would have picked off the top of my head. No one has gone for "Samurai," "Bounty Hunter," or the Blind Swordspig stories yet, and Dragon Bellow Conspiracy still needs a second ;) I am strategically saving my 3rd nomination. |

Between Usagi and his father. With Kenichi and Mariko and Katsuichi. Usagi receiving his swords. And excellent duel with Gunichi.

That one is great, too. I couldn't decide whether to use my last second on this, Samurai, or The Kite Story. The Tower also features an appearance of characters from my favorite comic strip, Calvin and Hobbes. |

Last minute nomination for Return of the Blind Swordspig as I felt that story did more to characterize Ino and give him his own delightful mixture of curmudgeon and endearingly pathetic that was distinct from the clear homage he served as in the first tale.
And I'll use my final second on Bounty Hunter, a very fun tale that gave us Usagi's most beloved companion of them all.
