He first became known as The Maker in Ultimate Fallout #4.

Look at the amazing work this guy did on Ultimate Reed Richards. This universe continues to intrigue me more and more.

I'm so fascinated by the Ultimate Reed Richards becoming The Maker and *ahem making his way into the regular Marvel Universe that I picked up a full run of Ultimate Fantastic Four today. I'm also looking forward to reading other Ultimate books.

The Ultimate Universe was fun until Millar took over and killed everyone, IMO. Reed Richards being evil was not something I thought made sense, but it's true alot of people like him.

They should have just made Millar "the destroyer of world(s)" instead of Reed then, huh? Also, kudos on resuscitating a "dead horse" of a thread folks~

The more I think about it, the more intrigued I am by a superhero universe wherein the writers could let it all hang out. Sure, a tidal wave killed a number of the heroes, but where else are you going to get something like that? I snagged an entire run of Ultimate FF on the Bay, and I think I'll start in on it!

I just read Ultimate Fantastic Four 1. I liked it an awful lot. Until now I'd only read the first few Ultimate Spider-Mans and maybe one or two other Ultimate issues. I've been reading up on this universe on the internet, and planning to pursue reading more of it. Hopefully much more.

I just had a friend tell me Ultimates was the Avengers cinematic blueprint in many ways.

I just had a friend tell me Ultimates was the Avengers cinematic blueprint in many ways. There are a lot of parallels but they use a lot of the ideas from the regular Marvel Universe as well.

One thing for certain. Marvel used it's top writers on the Ultimate Universe, including Hickman.
