OK, sorry to be contrary but this was not the first post-Crisis appearance of the Global Guardians. You're not being contrary when you're stating something to be untrue that is untrue; you're being helpful. I got that claim from an online resource I consulted about The Global Guardians. Apparently, it was not accurate. Thanks for this.

Infinity Inc. by DC was an excellent book and has many of my favorites and I was sad to see this group gone and I don't care the New Infinity at all. The team that I got listed here is my favorite team and always will be.
Silver Scarab Fury Northwind Nuklon Jade Obsidian Power Girl Huntress Brainwave, Jr.

I need to read Infinity Inc. at some point.... I liked Jade as Kyle's girlfriend Also, Karin Grace was only sorta a traitor... she switched back to the good guys before she sacrificed herself (I just read the issue yesterday!)

Believe me, I am not looking forward to it. The Superman Millennium tie-ins I had to read for that review thread were more than enough for me, thank you very much.

Slight pause in the reviews as I wait for my Millennium #1-8 to arrive by mail. They should be here by Monday. Noooooooo! Legends was bad enough! This is ten times worse! Steve Englehart is one of my all time favorite comic writers, but he has produced some dreck at times. For my money, Millennium is among the worst of it. I was so excited when DC announced Englehart would be doing a big event series in '88. I was so disappointed with the series when it actually came out. My interest in DC had been growing in leaps and bounds in the era after Legends, the launch of Justice League, Byrne's Supes, Perez's Wonder Woman, etc. then this came out and kicked that interest in the nuts. I ended up dropping about half the DC books I was getting after this series (it didn't help I was a freshman at university and getting broker by the week, but the series gave me the excuse I needed to cut way back on stuff-I had dropped a whole bunch of Marvel when I got on the DC kick already, so I got down to a handful of titles I could afford, and more than a few of the survivors were indy books form First and the like. I've since gone back and read a lot of what I missed form that DC period, and a lot of it was good, but Millennium was the book that first gave me a distate for event crossovers. As for reading Millennium, better you than me brother -M

Knowing some of the other Millennium tie-ins quite well, the traitors will inevitably prove to be robot doubles. It's a bogus solicit Not "inevitably". Both Wally west's father and the Outsiders' Dr. Jace turned out to be Manhunter agents, and neither were robots. It was actually Dr. Jace's betrayal that kicked off the chain of events that led to the Outsiders disbanding after Millennium. Other Manhunter agents included Obsidian's girlfriend Marcie Cooper in Infinity Inc., Booster Gold's agent Dirk Davis, Mr. Smith from Ferris Aircraft, Karin Grace of the Suicide Squad, Blue Devil's sister Mary, the Pittsburgh Chief of Police in Firestorm and Harry Hadley from the Captain Atom Project. I think the only ones who turned out to be robots were Laurel Kent, Lana Lang and Thor the Thunder Dog. Lana Lang wasn't a robot. The Smallville town doctor was a robot and he hypnotized/brainwashed her and several other Smallville kids her age. Also, the first Justice League Rocket Red was a robot.

Lana Lang wasn't a robot. The Smallville town doctor was a robot and he hypnotized/brainwashed her and several other Smallville kids her age. To be even more precise, every person born in Smallville after Clark's arrival had a device implanted in them that made them unknowing sleeper agents of The Manhunters.

Slight pause in the reviews as I wait for my Millennium #1-8 to arrive by mail. They should be here by Monday. When I find out which Manhunter robot wrote this rather than the real Steve Englehart, there's going to be TROUBLE! Better make it a DOUBLE!

Wow, you're actually going to read and review Millenium? My condolences.. Much like Legends, the emphasis will only be on how it affects The League. I'll be able to breeze through them quite quickly if The League doesn't do all that much.

For those of you wondering what the order will be. Millennium was a weekly crossover series. Millennium #1 comes out first and JLI #9 is a week 1 book so its review will come second. Then comes Millennium 2-5 followed by JLI #10. The end will be Millennium #6-8.
Just so we get it out of the way now...Shaxper do you have Invasion!?
