Plus side is that it's cheaper. You won't have to shell out $60. You will if you want to have all 3 on display, as some people will want to do. -M Yup. Good thing I'm not one of those people though. You can just buy 3 and spend the $60 that way I guess.

Decided to visit the one toy store here in Macau that sells a good amount of Marvel Legends. Last week they seemed to be running on stock that they've had for a while. I was wondering if they were going to get any of the 80th anniversary figures soon. Low and behold after I went today I found some gems: I was shocked that so many of those super hard to find Walmart exclusive Captain America figures were just sitting there. I almost spent $60 on this online because I was afraid I would miss out, and it would even skyrocket further in price. I got two, because this is the Marvel Legends figure I really wanted. Also picked up the first appearance Wolverine/Hulk 2 pack,, Blink, and Silver Samurai. Went a little nutty I have to admit They didn't have the Colossus/Juggernaut combo though which was on my mind, and would have gotten that instead of Blink/Silver Samurai. Perhaps in a little while though it might pop up here. This store is strange for me, since it seems to get exclusives here even from SDCC that just happened. Whatever. Just happy to know that there is at least one place here I can indulge myself in when I have some scratch to burn.

Even those who don't follow wrestling must surely appreciate the look of this figure:

Friend called me this morning to let me know figures from new movie Scoob are out. Hit Walmart by my house & picked up all 4 of the 2 packs. Dick Dastardly with Super Scooby. Blue Falcon with Muttley. Shaggy with Dynomutt. Captain Caveman with a regular Scooby Doo. Very well done figures. Great price point of $8.97. Smart packing in different figures in the 2 packs so you want/must buy all the packs. Really like this new version than the last cartoon sets of the gang with a villain. Look so much nicer in these new sculpts!

These are a set of custom Megos of Flash Gordon done by Dino (Dr. Cyclops) that some might know from our previous home (I thought he might have posted here at some point be I may be wrong, I believe Cei-U! knows him). He posted these over at the Mego Museum, and with my love of all things Flash Gordon I had to share the love... -M

I met him and his brother Tony at a comic convention my freshman year in college when they were 11 and 13. Dino does indeed do amazing work on his custom Megos. You should see the sculpts he does for the heads. His Ditko-style Dr. Octopus, Sandman and Vulture are gorgeous; ditto his Kirbyesque Mole Man and Super Skrull. Dino's coming for a visit sometime later this month. I'll have to show him your post. He'll be delighted.
Cei-U! I summon my former roomie!

Look at this action figure from the greatest TV show ever, The Fall Guy: One, that does not look like Lee Majors. Two, his feet are incredibly small. Three, he has strange eyes. I like The Fall Guy (the greatest show ever), but if I’d seen that back in the day, I would not have been impressed.

The '70s Bionic Man doll looked a lot cooler, and he had a telescopic eye! Standards must've fallen. Wait... I've just found Bigfoot! Bionic Bigfoot!

Can't believe there hasn't been a Dr. Funkenstein action figure! I think there was a Bootsy Collins though.

This 1980s WWF action figure is going for $10,000: Why is the seller charging for shipping? If someone pays $10,000, then I am sure the seller can easily absorb the cost of the shipping. Incidentally, I have NEVER seen a wrestling figure going for such a high amount. Is there really anyone out there that could justify purchasing this, even if they had the money? If I had $10,000 spare, there are so many other things I’d want to buy first.
