2020 continues to suck. Chadwick Boseman dead of colon cancer at 43. I just got home from work and that was the first headline in my news feed. To say I was stunned is an understatement. It was a gut punch. Way too young and way too much still to give to the world. RIP and Wakanda Forever! -M

2020 continues to suck. Chadwick Boseman dead of colon cancer at 43. Just saw this on the internet. So sudden and saddening. Amazingly talented actor who was just becoming a major star. Rest in Peace King of Wakanda...

Such horrible news. I'm in the middle of Panther's Rage from the 70s. With everything going on the symbolism of his death is striking

Tragic loss he was an extraordinary talent. I've been so looking forward to the Black Panther sequel and had no idea he was even sick. RIP Wakanda Forever!

I had my doubts about Black Panther and how they would handle Wakanda, but Boseman did such a masterful and inspiring job. The scenes with Jon Kani, in Civil War showed me that he would be good, as Kani is a legend in South African drama and Boseman was committed to using authentic Xhosa. It was a small scene but perfectly set up the characters, father and son.
43 is way too young.
Fine actor, fine man.

Sad news. This year is pretty much completely depressing and exhausting with bad news. Don Lemon said about how his mother would threaten to slap someone into next year he wished she could do that now.

It's 2020, which has been one long soul-sucking festival of misery and pain, so of course this is the news I wake up to this morning.
Gut-wrenching that in a year marked by so much racial division, the actor who portrayed Jackie Robinson, Thurgood Marshall and Black Panther, a man who was an inspiration to Black children that they too could someday grow up to be superheroes, would be taken from this world by that insidious bastard known as cancer.
RIP Chadwick Boseman. Gone way too soon, and who will be forever missed.

A fine actor. I enjoyed his portrayals of Thurgood Marshall, James Brown and T'Challa. This truly is the darkest timeline.
