Sinnott was an incredibly classy guy from everything I've ever read. And I agree with Slam_Bradley ; he was the perfect inker for Kirby. And he was also superb on Buscema's pencils. Also an excellent penciler himself... Reminds me of Joe Maneely.

RIP to Milton Glaser, he was 91. He was an iconic designer responsible for so many iconic logos including the DC bullet and the I(heart)NY logo. -M

Also noted for this iconic Bob Dylan poster... Died on his 91st birthday. I recall seeing some of his work in a Taschen published book about 60s Design.

Also noted for this iconic Bob Dylan poster... That poster was commission by Columbia Records to be packaged with initial copies of Bob Dylan's 1967 Greatest Hits album. If you look closely, the word "ELVIS" is written in Dylan's psychedelic hair.

The Legendary funny man, comedian, actor, director CARL REINER passed away yesterday at age 98. Grew up watching him on Dick Van Dyke, Just LOVE him playing straight man to Mel Brooks 2,000 year old man. Did some wonderful movies directing Steve Martin in the Jerk, Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid, The Man With two Brains and All of Me. Gonna miss the old codger! God Bless ya Carl...

Carl was Mel Brooks lifetime partner besides his wife. The two of them used to have dinner daily together before the Virus Pandemic and since then have spent every day on the phone together watching game shows and old movies together. Is Mel not far behind I have to wonder since the 2 were so emotionally/personally connected?!?

In 2009, at the Comedy Central Roast of Joan Rivers, comedian Greg Giraldo told Carl Reiner (who was on the dais) that Rivers had named one of her crappy QVC wrist-watches after the comedy legend. "The Carl Reiner: it's got liver-spotted hands and it's running out of time."
Ironically, it was Giraldo who was dead the following year while Carl Reiner continued to work and entertain for another decade. A comic genius. He will be missed.

Carl's MeTV spots have been a regular reminder of him for the last few years. I wish his soul safe travels!

I was today years old before I had ever heard the name Greg Giraldo. He was a mainstay at those roasts for a while until his death. He was perfect in that setting and very funny if you like off-color insult comedy.

Carl talking about missing out on Iwo Jima, thanks to running into Howard Morris in Oahu, during WW2..
Legend isn't a big enough word for Carl Reiner.
