Not fan art this was originally a tattoo design sketched with pencil. The client had me incorporate a heart design that I removed when I digitally colored it. Working on this helped me learn a little about painting texture in Photoshop. fav.me/d6ni7cwVery beautiful red rose and very realistic looking ... If I wanted to add here ...

Another very old piece and another reproduction. The reference used was a Spawn trading card. Originally sketched with pencil then inked with a technical pen. The red is also pen and the black in the background is Prismacolor marker. fav.me/dnykja

This is another reproduction of a Spawn trading card as well as an older piece. It was actually one of the first I colored in Photoshop before I upgraded to a Wacom pen. The original was sketched in pencil and inked with technical pen. Years later it was digitally colored in Photoshop. fav.me/drpfc0fav.me/dnyk8h

Not fan art but an unused design depicting a defeated and decapitated devil. Originally sketched with pencils and inked with a technical pen. I never really finished inking it but still like aspects of the design. fav.me/d1hemy6

This is a quick sketch I drew last week and inked over the weekend and was inspired by the work of Jack Kirby. It was originally sketched in ball point pen then redrawn in pencils and inked with Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens. fav.me/dblmhqw

This was originally an idea I doodled in a lined notebook with ballpoint pen. Later I did a quick pencil drawing in a proper sketchbook. I started to ink the original line work and half way through I decided to print out my pencil line art and do a proper sketch version. fav.me/dbn7h4z

Loved the colors that you used for your Captain America Jesse and that grinning devil is pretty cool rendering too.

Just a work in progress photo of the pen and ink version of the Nosferatu piece I previously posted. I think working on the pencil sketch version first let me get a good idea about how I want this version shaded so it's already made it easier for me moving forward with it in that respect. fav.me/dbogfu2

I like how this finished Nosferatu pen and ink piece turned out and I think it's interesting to see how two pieces with the same composition can look and feel completely differently. I plan to digitally ink and color another version eventually when I can. fav.me/dboxqzg

This was originally a quick sketch I drew with pencils then it was inked with a Pigma Micron and Brush pens and colored with Prismacolor markers and color pencil. The pose is a reconstruction of a Mark Bagley drawing although altered. The costume is done in John Romita Sr. style expect the chest symbol which was influenced by the films and the webbing was done similarly to the Todd McFarlane spaghetti webbing. fav.me/dbphynufav.me/dbpl6iz
