Two other resources that might be worth linking to: Convention SceneComichron: The Comic ChroniclesNeither are technically non-profit, but I'm pretty sure they're just using ad revenues to keep the lights on. No intention to do more than provide excellent resources to the web. Also, maybe some blogs or twitter accounts of classic creators? |

It's not quite comics but...I would add the Internet Speculative Fiction Database to that list. ISFDBwww.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/index.cgias we have a lot of fans of pulps, sci-fi, sword & sorcery etc. here and it serves a similar function to the GCD for all of that wonderful material, and is a pretty invaluable resource. -M |

I'll check those out! I searched for twitter accounts of "classic" creators a while back, but all I could find were modern creators tweeting about new stuff... |
