It's soft plastic. The part that ripped was soft plastic and tore as I was taking if off my arm.

I was ridiing my bike today with my Cap Back pack and when I took it off, one of the straps broke at the point where it connects to the bag. Well, the experiment is a failure. Get the real version and not the knockoff. Now to see if my wife can do her magic and re attach it.  Wow that sucks! |
