I didn't eat to badly yesterday until the evening when my wife and I ate at Buffalo Wild Wings. Eve there I ate the wings with a salad. But I still stayed at 207. I really have to get on my bike. Well adding the salad isn't going to cause you to lose weight. The salad helps fill you up so that you eat less of the wings

I did not swim today because later on - I will be picking up my taken-in swimwear from my girlfriend later on for Dinner today and proceed from there. She had to take in a inch off of my swimwear and she will have it done today!

But salad is good for moving the bowels, man.

So I've had a VERY good day. Before dinner tonight, the scale showed 236.5, so I'm very excited to see what happens on the scale tomorrow. The best part, though, is that I am REALLY in the zone with my eating. I literally eat the same two things each day, and I swear it feels AMAZING. My body feels incredibly while eating it, like my entire body is cleaning itself out and optimizing itself, I feel positively FULL after, and I crave the taste all day long. Basically, twice a day, I eat: - Spinach salad with diced grilled chicken, red onion, egg whites, and turkey sausage. - Honey Nut Cheerios served over a bowl of fat free vanilla yogurt - Green tea after That's it. Sometimes, if I'm hungry in the middle of the day, I'll have an extra serving of the cheerios and yogurt. Food truly never felt nor tasted this good. I fear that, as my nutritional balance changes, so will my cravings, but for now, I have never felt more satisfied with my food intake. Usually, I don't even get hungry when it isn't meal time. I would choose this over any one of my favorite foods right now. This is my spinach salad, in case you're curious: I prepare enough ingredients for four salads and then store them individually so that I am only cooking every two days:

I finally ticked down a pound. Now I'm 206. The last 2 days I did well until the evening. I have to watch that.

Well here it is...
Day 87
Today's weigh in: 235 lbs (-2.5 lbs from yesterday)
-30 lbs / 55 lbs to go
I didn't really lose 2.5 lbs in a single day, of course. I've been hovering around the 236 mark before lunch for the past two days; morning is no longer when I'm my lightest since I don't eat until lunch time now.
But wow. I'm here. I did it. Just two weeks ago, I wasn't even sure I could get back on the diet in a serious way. Now, having found my wonder eating combination, I am really on the move again. Earlier this summer, before experiencing any major setbacks, my goal had been 220 lbs by the time I return to school next week. At this point, even with the setbacks, I'm only a few weeks off pace.

Today, I swam my usual 15 laps and thinking of going 18 laps next week - Starting Monday! Little more than a half a mile every Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Starting in September - Senior Citizens 55-65 age group at the gym that I go to is having Water Polo tryouts and only way to qualify is to swim at least 10 laps and members thought I would be a natural in this. I loved Water Polo and I did this in competitions in my college days for 4 years back in the late 70's and early 80's and I've already signed up for it.
Matches on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 11am in the mornings. They have leagues in Fall and Spring. So, I'm doing both.

Starting Weight: 271 Pounds
Week 1 - 270.5 Week 1 - 272.5 (Monday, after the 4th) Week 2 - 270.5 Week 3 - 269.2 Week 4 - 268.0 Week 5 - 267.5 Week 6 - 266.0
Right Now ... 265 pounds - Lost a pound this week despite not been able to workout one day because of my swim trunk is being taken in by my girlfriend. Later on today, I'll be getting two more swim trunks to wear because I've already signed up for Water Polo in September and looking forward doing so. I did a light workout yesterday - walking the track and doing some weightlifiting too.

Day 88Today's weigh-in: 236 (+1 lb since yesterday) 29 lbs down / 56 to go No, I'm not backsliding. Last night, my wife wanted to do a family dinner out, so I obliged, and I was feeling light headed anyway (think I may have lost a little too much a little too fast) so we went to Buffalo Wild Wings, and I had 8 boneless wings and an order of fries. It felt good to get more nourishment in (I didn't realize I wasn't getting enough -- I felt satisfied), but the food just sort of sat in my stomach after. I'm used to clockwork digestion now. I was 240 last night, 237 this morning, and 236 an hour ago when I weighed myself. I have no doubt that, if I had time to stick around today, I'd be back to 235 by noon. Unfortunately, today is going to be a crazy day, and I'll likely have to eat out for both lunch and dinner, so I may well be up in weight again tomorrow Still, I just can't deprive myself when eating out. It's a total killjoy to me and to everyone else present.
