Back down to 247 about the start of my vacation to England and with Summer nearby ... I'll probably lose a few more inches off my waist. I need new pants/shorts in a day or two.

The weight just keeps coming off this week, though the diameter isn't budging just yet. Honestly, no way did I expect to be in the mid 250s by this week. I'm positively thrilled. And again, the most amazing part of all is that this diet really isn't work for me at all. I feel like I could keep this up forever. I truly hope that feeling stays.

It won't. So much of eating is emotional. Happy ? Eat. Sad ?Eat. Anxious ? Eat. Discipline wins out at the end. But you are learning what works and what doesn't.
I was 198.6 this morning.

I legitimately have no explanation for this one. I'm sure it's a fluke, but I can't deny it's upsetting. I was good today and really looking forward to dropping lower. Oh well.

I really don't understand what my body has been doing these past two days, but honestly I'm not too discouraged. I enjoy this diet/lifestyle enough that I'm not tempted to stray from it. Obviously, I'm tempted to cheat a little some days, but I still genuinely love my core diet meals and won't be giving them up anytime soon.
So, as long as I'm comfortable and content staying the course, I've got to win out in the long run, right?

So, as long as I'm comfortable and content staying the course, I've got to win out in the long run, right? You are doing just great and very motivated and you'll win out in the long run and succeed. I gained 3 pounds by eating a standard (trip to England) 3 course meal and I change my method by eating four short meals a day. I don't sleep much about 4-6 hours a day and I eat four meals. My first one is a bowl of cereal and some fruit and my favorite is mandarin oranges My second one is going out to eat and get myself a decent dinner and eat half of it and take home the rest. My third one is steamed vegetables, some acorn squash, and apples. My fourth one is a half of biscuit, one scoop of ice-cream, and some fruit ... notably raspberries. I take a walk about a hour after that and get some coffee at my local Starbucks and have a piece of Pumpkin Bread and walk back home. Usually, my walk is about 2-3 miles, give or take a few steps. Repeat again with different cereal and I eat the other half of that dinner that I had yesterday. I'll weigh myself tomorrow ...

Down to 245.5 today ... lost 24 ounces in 3 days due to cutting back on desserts by one half and drinking more fruit juice.
Did the Stationary Bike at my GYM today and just got back from it. Did a stimulated 10 miles on it.

Got back to bike commmuting this week (30 mile round-trip). So far, 2 days this week - would have been 3 but couldn't today due to reasons. Weight currently osciallating around 192, which isn't great, but is a distinct improvement on the 198 it was for a while.
Feel pretty motivated to lose at the moment - moreso than I have for a year or more.

Of cousin of mine had mentioned on FB about a workout regiment involving doing 100 pushups a day plus 30 minutes of any cardio. So I decided on my days off starting today to add more sets of pushups throughout the day in sets of 20. I'll do my last set of 20 before bed tonight. Tomorrow probably four sets of 25 throughout my day. I'm trying to think of a low impact cardio routine I can do for half hour as I don't own an exercise bike or treadmill.

if not, put on music and dance around the living room for 30 minutes.

I'm thinking the fluctuations are because I haven't been (ahem) evacuating as much lately, probably due to a high amount of dietary fiber in my intake. Mornings would inevitably have me at a far lower weight right now, but I'm just stubborn like that

Despite some challenges this past week, managed to stick to my diet & exercise plan for the most part. and weight this morning? 199.2 lbs. So down ~19 lbs since April 1. Ok, I realize I weighed after my walk, and before eating anything, and if I were to weigh after lunch, I'm sure it would go up a bit. but still. . under 200 again! and only 14 lbs from where I'd like to be by Dragon*con in ~3 months. Seems very do-able!
so: started back on plan on 4/1 at 218 lbs 1st check in was on 4/14 at 211.6 lbs 2nd check in was on 4/22 at 208.2 lbs 3rd check in was on 4/28 at 206.2 lbs 4th check in was on 5/10 at 201.8 lbs.
and today, 5/18: 199.2 lbs. that's my status. bert
