Weight's not really doing anything much - I'm oscillating between about 168 and 172, still - mainly because I'm also osciallating between days of carefully logged and managed calories and days of eating my body weight in Caramel Eggs.
However, the exercise side is going really well. Yesterday, I did my longest ever single cycle ride (just short of 40 miles), and I'm continuing to clock up 25-30 miles per weekday (in total) commuting. Today was (at last!) test day in the gym - and I passed 6 out of 7 exercises (failing on overhead press, which I expected to fail on; but passing bench press comfortably and bicep curls, just, which I thought were both likely to be a bit hit and miss). As a result, I'll start the next 5-week cycle next week with increased weights for those 6, and continue the same weight for the 7th. Hopefully the next cycle will actually complete in 5 weeks, rather than the 13 weeks that this "5 week" cycle has taken.

Back on track on Water Polo and just came back from our 2nd Practice Session and I'm holding at 252 gain a pound and hopefully this 48 Match Schedule that will be done by end of May will help. Practice Sessions are Tuesdays and Thursdays and also on Saturdays as well. Games will be on Mondays and Wednesdays in the mornings. Sometimes a Match will show up on a Fridays as well.

Finished week 5 of weights cycle. Suffering from a bit of tennis elbow, so I'm going to have a "rest" week next week, hitting only legs and abs. I'm shortly out to hit the bike for what will hopefully beat my longest ever ride. More news at 11!

Good day/bad day. On the good side, I was (just) under 168, for the first time in ages; on the bad side... 'bone, I don't know if you remember me ragging on you for eating 18 mini-burgers (or something like that), well today I ate 7 caramel eggs, plus a ton of other chocolatey goodness/badness. Not proud, but they were soooo good! Ah well, today's mis-step is tomorrow's history, and tomorrow is the first day of the rest of the programme!

Woo Hoo! I've figured it out! I've broken the code to me losing weight! Apparently, if I want to lose one more pound before I die, all I gotta do is exercise an average of between 8-13 hours everyday, and not eat more than a carrot stick between now and my 75th birthday! Hahaha simple! Look out world!

Several days gone by, and I'm back onto the 168-ish level, give or take half a pound either way. So "maintenance" rather than gaining or losing, which is OK-ish I guess.
Have taken a couple of weeks off from the gym to try to get over a case of tennis elbow. On the bike, February was my 2nd best month ever, falling just short of 500 miles ridden, so pretty happy with that, though the weather has been pretty miserable for cycling

I have a double match today for Water Polo and the first match in 40 minutes ... at 5am in the morning and the 2nd one at 10am in the morning ... Man, I will be dead tired after this day.
I will swim an equivalent of 3 to 4 miles today.

Ok, so now that the month of Feb is over, and I've had time to try to deal with the death of my Mom, and we've finished up with the cruise (where I not only ate and drank WAY too much, but also had 3-4 Vanilla Mocha Lattes each day), with absolutely no exercise -- exacerbated by getting sick once we got home, so haven't exercised at all in almost 3 weeks . . . I'm going to try my best to get back on my program.
Official 1st weigh in since back (about 10 minutes ago):
187.2 lbs.
So a gain of 12.2 lbs from my lowest of 175#
Not sure if I'm happy it's not as bad as I feared, or upset that it's still over 10 lbs.
going to start back with my exercise of 1/2 hour per day and work my way back up. Hopefully can stick with it.

Back in the gym yesterday, after a 2-week break. Most lifts OK, but my chest press has gone to hell in the gap

I weighed in at 213. That's about 15 pounds from my low weight last year. I'm dealing with some personal stuff and zero lifting has made it so. edit: Of course lots of undisciplined eating is the real villain .
