Yeah, it's a fake Batgirl... while the new direction and style is alot looser, it's not THAT bad I have never read Batgirl before in my life, but saw that preview, took a look, and I still have no idea. So, that is a fake Batgirl? Real Batgirl doesn't act like that?

So, that is a fake Batgirl? Real Batgirl doesn't act like that? Oh come on, the description of the story itself on that page says: "The Batgirl of Burnside is the name on everyone’s lips…but she sure is acting strange since she took up residence in Gotham City’s outer borough! Dangerous joyrides? Photo ops? Sequins? Either Barbara Gordon’s gone off the deep end – or there’s a doppelganger under that cowl!"

Bitch Planet #1 (if they get it) Uh, what is this? It already sounds like something I need. According to Image it's a "women-in-prison sci-fi exploitation riff" written by Kelly Sue DeConnick (why I'm interested) with art by Valentine De Landro.

So, that is a fake Batgirl? Real Batgirl doesn't act like that? The real Batgirl definitely doesn't act like that. In fact, the 'real' Batgirl in that comic doesn't really act like the real Batgirl, but that's another story

Yeah, it sounds interesting, kind of like Dark Horse's Grindhouse : Doors Open At Midnight # 3-4 by Alex De Campi & Simon Fraser The correctional transport ship Antares is home to the baddest beauties this side of the Milky Way, but when their demented warden starts taking her jollies from the prisoners’ hides, the babes of Block E fix to bust out! Trashtastic cover by Francesco Francavilla! Artist Simon Fraser (2000 AD) joins writer Alex de Campi (Smoke, Valentine)! and The maniacal warden of the prison ship Antares has pushed its comely cons to the limits of human endurance—but these bad mamas won’t take their punishment lying down! Alex de Campi and Simon Fraser dish up the riotous finale to “Prison Ship Antares” in the proud sexploitation tradition !

Afterlife with Archie 7 (good stuff. the zombies aren't the only horror.) Avengers World 16 (picked up out of curiosity over Val/Uncle Doom bit) Axis 7 (picked up out of curiosity about Quicksilver/Scarlet Witch bit) Thor 3 (curious about the new Thor) Justice League United 7 (cause of the Legion) and the $1 reprints of Lazarus and Shutter #1s
Only one series here I'm actually following. Ah well.

Addendum to my like: While I like this news (big fan of Stjepan and Rat Queens), I do hope this doesn't hamper Stjepan's other projects (Death Vigil mostly, but I enjoyed Ravine volume 2 and was looking forward to Twitch).

It looks like Orange is the New Black set on Takron Galtos. I'll likely get the trades as I like the writer.
