Rocket Raccoon #5 was crazy fun. Yeah, I giggled a lot and laughed out loud once.

That cover certainly looks good, what's the creative team like?[/quote] It's Rick Remender and Stuart Immonen, and this is the standard cover (if it's the All-New Capt. America coming out this week)... -M

The cover Jez posted seems to be a convention only special for a con in Monterrey MExico, and there is a b&W variant of the variant too, also con only....

I rarely have time for the books on my pull list. I will only be pulling two Marvel books once January comes. I only really pull Rat Queens on Image.
I have been so damn busy lately that I only have had time to (barely) read the Alpha Flight series I committed my reading time to.

I made the decision to not bother being a monthly reader of new series anymore.
I tried it for a year and almost every series I read has been cancelled or changed into something I don't want.
Amazing X-men was taken over by Kyle and Yost and instead of being a title that harkens back to the older X-men style it's just another KyYost torture porn with too many characters. I mean great you acknowledged Alpha Flight's existence but the fact that you use Alpha Flight and a team of X-men full of my favorites and secondary favorites and somehow manage to make that uninteresting is a feat only KyYost can achieve.
Nightcrawler to be cancelled next year if sales don't go up, that's probably because Claremont spent the first few issues on Amanda and Margali two characters next to none of Nightcrawler's fandom care for and post poning Nightcrawler's thoughts on the Schism to what? several issues down the line. So whilst Nightcrawler is my fav I don't feel too bad about his solo being cancelled even though I liked the storyline with him and Rico.
All-New X-Factor to be cancelled at Issue #20. I love Quicksilver and Polaris and wanted more interaction between them so this was great for me and having Gambit around wasn't bad either this series also made me a fan of Danger, Warlock and Doug so I'm really bothered by the cancellation because all it will result in is Quicksilver solely on the Avengers (Because despite being a Speedster Marvel can't comprehend him being on more than one team) and having Polaris, Gambit, Danger, Warlock and Doug in limbo or given to writers who will use them as wallpaper.
Invaders is being cancelled (I think?) I mainly wanted this because I liked Cap, Bucky, Jim Hammond and Namor (Especially Namor) and unfortunately there wasn't enough focus on Namor for me so I don't feel too bad about it but I did love how much it focused on Jim.
So it seems as though whatever I want to read isn't what Marvel wants me to read! I'd rather just buy everything in trade or catch up on older comics.

Trust me, if you ever decide to read AF in its entirety (volume 1, I don't know about the others), you'll realize they've been used in WAY WORSE ways. At least none of them died. And at least Aurora was involved. And Talisman was briefly in 2 issues and injured almost immediately. No one can decide if Alpha Flight is supposed to be moving forwards or backwards, Northstar suddenly wonders why he cares about children (srsly, wtf?), The Great Beasts are once again involved in something AF, part of the X-Men become gods (for a page) but don't really do anything, Talisman and Puck are a couple (completely out of NOWHERE), and no one ever knows if Heather and Mac are getting along or at each others' throats. You are right, Fuzzay. It kind of sucks (now that I typed all of that out).
