Hmmmm... Junior side-kick Street level vigilante Meta-human Cosmic being Beyonder Seems a bit dry. I'd rather avoid specific characters, though, as the idea of 20 users being Spider-Man at the same time doesn't make much sense, and some people would prefer to be Moon Knight. Maybe more like: Mascot Side-kick Henchman Monitor Duty Staff Top Minion Techincal Wizard Stalwart Partner Trusted Teammate Solo Vigilante Local Hero Super Hero After I had worked on my first job for a while, I designated myself as "Senior Flunky." |

Trying to find a happy balance between my rankings and Kurt's. What I like about mine is that it's tongue and cheek / not taking the idea of becoming a superhero by posting on a message forum too seriously. What I like about Kurt's is that there's a more logical progression. AIM Agents don't generally become superheroes.
So how's this for a best (or at least "better") of both worlds?

I like it! You can change the # of posts need for each level, too Shax, so if you wanted to spread them out a bit more evenly.

In my experience, boards generally make it easier to "level up" in the beginning to encourage new users to become regulars, but then slow down promotions as you get further out. |

I definitely would take Costumed Crusader over Spandex-Clad Hero for level 6, but it's looking good overall.

Can anyone suggest something in place of Spandex-Clad Hero that suggests both that you've made it as a superhero and that you're not taking the promotion too seriously?

Does a fantastic job of humorously capturing a subset, but not the whole shebang. Seeing that it's about time for me to hit the sheets, I'm going to put the new ranks into effect now and reset the poll. We can still change/revise the ranks from this point forward. |
