Real classy guy with a heart of gold - my favorite ESPN personality and I will miss him dearly. Great broadcaster, he will be missed. Rich Eisen's tribute yesterday was tear-inducing. I watched that twice today - once in You Tube and once with ESPN - I watch a lot of ESPN on a daily basis because I'm a certifiable sports junkie that loves pretty much all sports available and Rich Eisen spoke to the heart and it's was a wonderful tribute to Stuart. Thanks for reminding us about this man that battle cancer head on with dignity and grace.

Biggest sports event in Canada the last couple weeks has been the annual World Juniors tournament. Canada pulled out a close win tonight against Russia to win the gold medal for the first time in 5 or 6 years. Exciting game with a lot of shifts in momentum.
Junior hockey can often be more exciting than the NHL as the players are less disciplined, more mistakes are made, so you see more scoring chances. It's always seemed weird to me that College sports are so big in the US, but maybe it has something do with that kind of thing?

Four men go into the largest Baseball Hall of Fame class in sixty years.
I'm glad the wait is over for Pedro Martinez, John Smoltz, Craig Biggio and Randy Johnson. Ken Griffey Jr. is the only mortal lock for next year, so I hope Tim Raines will be able to finally get in.

Griffey will be a shoo-in, Trevor Hoffman and Mike Piazza should get in before Raines. I don't think of Raines as HOF worthy, but thats me

I know what a duck is. I had to look up "buckeye" - it's a horse chestnut.
In 1939, the first NCAA basketball tournament was held. In the championship game, Oregon defeated Ohio State. Will history repeat?

I'm rooting for Oregon to beat Ohio State in the National Championship Game on Monday and I'm open for any of these two schools to win and I have no qualms over Ohio State to beat Oregon. I just want Marcus Mariota - Or Super Mario as they call him to win the game.

Random message board confession... trying to put in a full day at the office on a Saturday to kill the time before the Patriots-Ravens this afternoon.
The anxiety is killing me.
Go Pats!
