I want to find the one Paul Gulacy drew, as I'm a fan of his art and seem to remember thinking it looked pretty good on his Star Wars book.

I sat down and re-watched the first Ewok movie for probably the first time in 15-20 years(it's been impossible to find on DVD) and I really do think it stands up well. Sure, it's not nearly as serious in tone to the main Star Wars movies, in fact it feels a lot like a fairy tale at times what with the quest roles and the narration...but that's not a bad thing, it just makes it different and I don't see anything wrong with that. I know the Ewoks are traditionally seen as the original Jar-Jar for some but I've always loved them.

I'm only being half serious when I say that, of course, but they do fit right in with the fairytale-esque aspects of the franchise. I too quite like the first Ewok movie, Caravan of Courage, for what it is. The second one has its moments too, but the first is the better of the two IMHO.

They really do, and like Luke, Yoda and even Han and Chewie they fit in with that whole appearance versus reality theme as well as despite looking like little teddy bears they're actually pretty ingenuitive warriors. I haven't rewatched the sequel yet, but it's available now on Disney + as well so I'll have to check that one out too but I remember not liking it as much as I did when I first saw it as a kid. They also have the animated Boba Fett sequence as well and it's been remastered for the first time ever so I'm looking forward to seeing that outside of the scratchy vhs transfers that I'm used to from Youtube.

Possibly everyone has seen this already but I just came across it not long ago and thought it was pretty cute:

I see the video link no longer works, but if you search for "Dog scared by Darth Vader", or something like that, you'll find it.

I've really loved the two episodes of Bad Batch they've released so far, I'm not sure how I feel about a female clone of Jango Fett as a concept but the character herself has been fun so far.

I'm not sure about her either... so far she seems awfully perfect.. maybe too much so. Definitely really liked the 1st two episodes, but I'm not sure how much of an ongoing plot it can be without running into continuity issues. We'll see.
