Hey thanks you guys !
My wife threw a big party for me with almost my entire family (30 of 32) in Missouri over Labor Day weekend. We were there from Oklahoma, and the rest of the family came from Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota and North Carolina.
It was a great time and every single person had a great time except for my twin 1 year old nieces. It was a little too tough on them; they're just at the age where they're sensitive and cranky unless they're with Mom or Dad.
It's kind of weird knowing I'm probably more than half way to my rendezvous with mortality, but, in many ways, the previous years have been learning the hard lessons. Hopefully with age comes wisdom and a little less pressure.
Also looking forward to grandkids down the road.
Hopefully someday I'll at least get to meet some of you guys as well !
