Looks like a lovely book; I absolutely love Hokusai's work and, indeed, pretty everything I've seen of Japanese art/illustration produced in the late Edo period (and such a wonderfully-named era, by the way ).

One of my favorite artists to come out of the ttrpg scene was Tony DiTerlizzi, who did some great stuff for TSR back in the day bit is probably best known for the Spiderwick Chronicles YA books. He has a youtube channel were he talks about illustration and such that I recently stumbled upon, and I found this discussion of pen & ink artists from 2021, where Tony gives an overview of the many great pen & ink illustrators that influenced him over the years. There's a brief look at some Frazetta stuff, but a lot for the Golden Age of illustration. Tony also breaks down some of the techniques when looking at the pieces. It's about 2 hours, so a bit long if you're not into this kind of stuff, but it's a fascinating view if you like classic pen & ink illustration or peeking behind the curtain of technique.

Is this the right place to occasionally post covers from The New Yorker? They do some great ones!
