For too long a time, I was a "plainclothes superheroes are best" kind of guy. This guy's atrocious outfit didn't help alleviate that condition. Oh, yeah, that one is a bore.

Karnak Marvel ComicsMost of you here do not really care for the Inhumans ... but as you recall when I share my avatar of my top 100 characters -- I have two members of the Inhumans made that list Black Bolt and Medusa. I like Black Bolt because he doesn't speak much and carry an presence that's totally awesome and Medusa of her gorgeous locks of red hair that's has a mind of it own. Karnak if I recall correctly in the origin of the Inhumans through the Fantastic Four that he developed his ability to figure out the pressure points of known objects and crush them thoroughly. He did not obtain any superhuman powers because he did not went through the Mutagenic Terrigen Mist like the others and learned how to destroy objects through his training and understanding of "pressure points" and all that. To me, I just having a hard time enjoying him in the various adventures because he can be extremely obnoxious, annoying, and I can see him being a jerk as well. I look forward reading the Inhumans during the early days of the Fantastic Four and seeing Black Bolt and Medusa costumes ... Two of my personal favorites. Back to Karnak, he's can be stubborn, frustrated, mean to his members, and most of all doesn't always cooperate and that's alone makes me hate the guy to point that he can be utterly useless. This is all I can say about Karnak ... one of my least favorite Inhumans.

Um, what Reptisaurus said: Razorback is a hero, not a villain.

If Rick Jones sharing a body with Capt Marvel counts, then by all means he gets my vote. Even as a "villain" changed into a hulk he was insufferable. Like I can't even begin to understand Marvel creating such a boring, whiny, insufferable character.
If not, I guess I would go with Hal Jordan. Though I have no hate for him per say, he's just mind numbingly boring.

Batflunkie ... Has Karnak ever interacted with Iron Fist? Because there's a team-up book that I'd like to see. I don't think so. The Inhumans basically teamed up with the Fantastic Four and that's the only one that I know of.

I just read the entire 6-issue run, which told a complete story, and while I suspect he had plans for a longer one, I'm sure sales didn't dictate continuing it.

There were delays on the series, but that wasn't on Ellis, it was on artists who quit the book and Marvel dragging its feet finding replacements. Ellis turned in all 6 full scripts before the first issue was released. -M

Triton was a favourite of mine as a kid, for some reason I don't recall at the moment. But I liked all the Inhumans, so that might have been all there was to it.
The Ellis Karnak was good, but I'm so out of touch with Marvel's current output that it suffered a bit, from my POV, by being connected with whatever was supposed to be happening in the bigger MU picture at the time. In contrast to Ellis's Moon Knight, which felt more like its own thing. But I probably would have kept reading, if Ellis had kept writing it.
First I ever heard of Razorback. I can't tell if it's supposed to be a man with a boar's head on his shoulders, or a boar that just swallowed a man and hasn't finished digesting him yet.

I always liked Karnak, although consider the retcon that he doesn't have any powers absurd (in his first appearance he karate chops in half an immense diamond!). I always thought when Marvel was in the midst of its 70s martial arts phase that he ought to have gotten some attention, so I was glad to see him finally with a series of his own (for all its flaws).

Yeah, whose bright idea was that, anyway? The first I heard of it was in Ellis's series.
