Bleeding Cool is reportingt hat Kesel & Grummett's series will be returning from Image starting in April after a successful Kickstarter for the project. This is one of my favorite cancelled too soon titles that got axed because of the implosion of funding for the Gorilla imprint at Image, and I have been hoping for a continuation for over 15 years now. As Kesel described it, it's like Kirby does the X-Files, and I am excited to see this come back. -M

If you haven't read their Superboy run, it was fantastic.
Yes, very glad that Section Zero is coming back.
Series come and go but I truly thought this should come back.

Cool. I just bought the pdf version of their Kickstarter HC about a month or so ago, but - similar to Slam - I have it sitting on a hard drive waiting to be read...

Very nice, glad this is coming back. Hopefully something similar happens with Seven Ghosts, I loved that book.

Yeah that too was really good.
As long as we're bringing up recently canceled / suspended titles, I desperately want Bedlam back, but Nick Spencer's at Marvel now, so I doubt it'll happen in the near future.

I found Bedlam to be an incoherent mess at best, and a horrible attempt at a bad Joker pastiche at worst, but to each their own. Riley Rossimo is an artist I generally like, but his panel to panel and page to page narrative storytelling on the first handful of issues I read was atrocious. Not sure if that was because of Spencer's scripts or if he was working Marvel method, but this was two creators who have done stuff I liked coming together on a book that I wanted to like, but just didn't. -M |
