Manufacture- Passion For The Future
When I was twelve, I thought Eiffel 65's I'm Blue was going to be what the future sounded like. Now at twenty-eight, I'm more inclined to believe that this is. Kind of saddened that Manufacture only made two albums then called it quits. Terrorvision is f***in' amazin', Voice Of World Control not so much, but still damn good

On their most recent album Shade (their first in 8 years) Living Colour did a cover of one of my favorite Marvin Gaye tracks-Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler).
Man. Marvin's lyrics are just as relevant in 2018 as when he wrote it in 1971.

Speaking of Marvin Gaye I like this mash up of his Let's Get It On with Biggie's Let The Sky Be The Limit

"Caravanserai" by Santana Their last great album, IMHO. BTW, how do you say it? I've always pronounced it Cara-va-ness-er-eye.

In its historical context, it's pronounced with a long e sound at the end... kerəˈvansərē it's a respite for caravans and a mash up for the words caravan and a conjugation of the same root serene comes from to make a new word so the first part is pronounced exactly like caravan since that it what it is, and and it's serai is short e first sylable long e second syllable. I wasn't familiar with the album by Santana but am familiar with the term from my grad work examining long distance trade in the medieval Levant. -M

Very interesting, mrp. I had no idea of its precise meaning, although the album's front cover makes it clear that it's to do with desert caravans. So it should be pronounced, cara-va-ness-er-eee.
