I tried to tag someone in a post just now and when I entered the name it said no results found. I tried another name, and got the same result. A third name, the same thing. Is it just me the database is not working for to tag someone, or is there a problem with the functionality of the feature right now?

I tagged shaxper earlier this morning and had no issues. Seeing as I was able to tag him in this response, maybe it is just you. |

It was my first thought, except when it was working I did the same thing I did when it wasn't working, so I think I was good. When it comes to tech not working, I always assume it is user (me) error until I eliminate that possibility because I am a Luddite at heart and I am sure the tech knows this and resents me for it  -M |

I tried to tag Mechagodzilla. It didn't work. Thanks--we are looking into this. In the meantime you can still tag manually, typing the "at" symbol + username |

The tagging feature is back to normal and working now, Icctrombone and others who may have experienced this. Per Proboards Support, that particular server was acting up, so it was re-set. |
