I want to try a milk stout some day after a character in an old Brit tv series was always having one. Ena Sharples on the right from Coronation Street unless I'm very much mistaken. A stout is by far my favourite thing to have a pint of in a pub. I drink a lot of gin and whisky, but if I'm having a pint, it's usually a stout. Porter is OK too, but I prefer stout.

Apparently you live in opposite land. They are, in fact, the best kinds of beers. Give me an IPA, hefeweizen, or Belgian ale and I'll be happy. The first time I had a Hefeweizen on tap in Heidelberg, it was like nectar from the gods.

Due to my job, I don't drink much at all. But when there are days I won't be driving, I do like Foster's lager:

I used to hate beer when I was a kid, still prefer hard cider, but I can enjoy a bit of this Canadian classic once in a long while...

You folks aren’t making Dry January any easier, you know! To make things easier ... I don't drink at all and haven't had a drink for nearly 30 years and the reasons for that I can't have any alcohol because it's gives me a headache that you've don't believe and takes me a day or 2 to get rid of it. When, I go to parties ... I'm the designated driver.

There is a substantial part of the human population (mostly in Asia and among North American Natives) who lack a fully functional enzyme for the detoxification of acetaldehyde, one of the by-products of alcohol elimination. The result is that they easily get flushes and headaches when they drink. Maybe you’re a carrier of that mutation! You, Mechagodzilla... are a mutant! Welcome to the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters!

The headaches that I get is so bad and one time I had a punch and that punch had some port in it and after drinking one glass of it ... I got a rotten headache and I had to get my girlfriend at the time to take me home.

Local trading websites where you can sell or give stuff that you don’t need anymore are a blessing.
This past year we got rid of sports equipment, books, record collections, furniture and more... usually less than an hour after posting our ads. (“Free” is a wonderful marketing argument, I must say).
There! I said it.

My brother and I took care a lot of stuff that my Dad had in his home ... when he died in 2016 we used one and got rid of tons of stuff and they even came out to his house took it away for no cost to us. Believe me, they are a blessing and they even give you a tax receipt too!

Alaskan Way ViaductThis been a part of my life spending countless trips and reflecting the fondness of driving on this road for so long and now it is permanently closed and like losing a family member. I drove on this old relic about 30-50 times a year and some years I've even drove it up to 50-75 times and now I can't. So, this old relic is going to be gone and demolished and a new era of the Seattle Waterfront will emerge and life will move on for all Seattleites.
