Maybe it's because I haven't really liked the last two but even for a teaser this isn't doing anything for me which even the last two were able to do: I disliked The Force Awakens, and I thought The Last Jedi was good, but not great (nowhere near the original trilogy but a vast improvement over Episode VII) and while I agree this teaser doesn't give us much, I was very happy for one thing about it - Lando Calrissian!

I highly doubt Lucas had that planned when Star Wars was filmed (I also highly doubt he planned a lot of things that came to be, such as Luke and Leia being siblings when he wrote/filmed Star Wars so I am ok with retcons coming in after the fact if it makes the story better), but it does offer a context to the seemingly random reaction to the droids that makes sense, even if i wasn't the intent form the beginning.
